I am a STP Fan, but Stone Temple Pilots is beginning to be like Van Halen. So many Changes (Talk Show, Army Of Anyone) Sorry but I think the Classic STP was the Best. Poor Scott could not let go of the Smack 🙁

In my opinion STP is more than just Scott Weiland. We loved scott as a singer, but is understandable that if can’t count on him… STP must go on. And Chester fits great in my opinion! Guys, please don’t forget Portugal in your next tour! Good luck Chester!

Chester sounds like a Scott clone on this, not like Chester. It’s good but not amazing like people are saying. I can’t wait to hear more but why are they calling themselves STP when in the past they would go under a different name until they got back together. I hope they record Saturday (Glide with different lyrics) even as a b-side.

é chato ver quando uma banda que você curti tanto de muito tempo ser substituida assim. Progredir é legal até por que o cara tem um bom vocal. Mas confesso que sem o Scott, pra mim, não sra a mesma coisa. O certo é esperar pelo mais que vir e depois chegar a uma conclusão claro. Vou tentar ter um pouco de paciência, mas vou encarar isso como uma banda alternativa.

Change the band name, quit screwing your most loyal fans. Chester is a good singer, but it’s just not STP, if you really love your fans yo uwill change the band name to something else, you disgrrace our loyalty by replacing scott and spit in our face by keeping the band name….your album will TANK.

This Chester guy suckz….PLEASE do us a favor..no on can match Scott..he is STP and would rather a stoned Scott then no Scot cuz even buzzed he wrote and sang fucken awsome..u wont be able to ride on Scots tail by calling this CRAPPOLA S.T.P. Please give this band a new name and give Scot and S.T.P the respect they deserve.

Dude, knowing Chester, he propably asked Scott for permission, because he respects him very much. If he’s working with stp, that means Scott agreed. And I doubt, that Chester is a new singer. They propably did only a collaboation, so relax.

You guys get too caught up in the name “Scott Weiland.” Who cares if he isn’t in the band if there would BE no band with him and all his issues? I’d rather hear new tunes than not, and if Scott can’t get his act together after a good 20 year grace period I’d rather they move on with a new singer.

There is no Stone Temple Pilots without Scott Weiland. As much as I love this new “STP” track with new singer Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, please just retire STP and start a new amazing band without dancing on the grave of STP.
